Hellmann’s Ketchup Currency

OFFICIAL RULES

 

1)     PROMOTION PERIOD: The Hellmann’s Ketchup Currency Promotion (the “Promotion”) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on March 27, 2025, and ends at 11:30 p.m. ET on May 25, 2025 ("Promotion Period").  

 

2)     ELIGIBILITY: The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who possess a web-enabled mobile device as of March 26, 2025 and are eighteen (18) years of age or older (each an “Entrant”). Employees, officers, directors of Conopco, Inc., d/b/a Unilever (the “Sponsor”), and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, suppliers, distributors, retailers, advertising and promotion agencies and judging organizations (collectively with Sponsor, the “Promotion Parties”), as well as their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings) and/or persons living under the same household are not eligible to enter. This Promotion shall be construed and evaluated solely according to United States law and subject to federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. By entering, Entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, all eligibility requirements. Sponsors’ decisions are final with respect to all matters relating to the Promotion. By participating, Entrants agree to the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. 

 

3)     HOW TO PARTICIPATE: During the Promotion Period, on your web-enabled mobile device  scan a QR code (if you see one) or visit https://www.hellmanns.com/us/en/ketchup-currency.html directly (the “Site”), scan the QR code on the Site, and scan ketchup packets using your phone’s camera if you are in possession of any type of ketchup packets (“packets”) from anywhere you may have accumulated them (need not be specific brands), to capture the packet as indicated within the Site.  Once the packet has been captured with your camera, you will be notified if you are accumulating the packets towards a coupon or if you have scanned a “vintage” packet, you will be eligible to receive a one-year supply of Hellmann’s mayonnaise (the “Prize”), subject to verification. Coupon recipients/Prize winners will be required to provide their email address/complete the form (as required) in order to receive their coupon/Prize. Entrants are not permitted to share their account to accumulate more packets. Any attempt by an Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of packets/coupons/Prizes by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations or logins, or any other methods will void that Entrant’s packets/coupons/Prizes, and that Entrant may be disqualified from the Promotion. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed, or similar methods will void all packets submitted by the Entrant. All packets are subject to verification by Sponsor. All packets must be scanned by 11:30 p.m. ET on May 25, 2025. By participating, the Entrant agrees fully and unconditionally to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions thereunder, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Entrants may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address provided. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Entrant will be deemed the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed the Entrant. “Authorized account holder” of an email address is defined as the person who manages the e-mail address associated with the account. Any scan not in compliance with the above and which does not meet the other requirements of these Official Rules may be disqualified as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. As applicable, normal Internet/phone access and usage/data charges imposed by Entrants’ cellular/mobile service will apply and are Entrant’s sole responsibility.  

 

4)     PRIZE WINNER/COUPON RECIPIENT NOTIFICATION: Potential Prize winners (if any) will be notified by email, and will be required to confirm eligibility and provide a valid mailing address for Prize shipment within three (3) days of Sponsor’s attempted delivery of same. Prizes will be shipped to that mailing address within four (4) to six (6) weeks following verification. Return of any email as undeliverable or noncompliance within any specified time period or declining the Prize for any reason, will result in disqualification without further notice. Unclaimed Prizes will not be awarded. Coupon recipients will receive their coupon(s) via the Site once corresponding coupon threshold is achieved (subject to verification) and a valid email address is provided and you click where directed to receive the coupon to your email address. Return of any coupon as undeliverable will result in forfeiture of the coupon.

 

5)     SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES/COUPONS: Prize: Anyone who scanned the special “vintage” packet = one-year supply of Hellmann’s mayonnaise awarded as twelve (12) Hellmann’s Mayonnaise bottles. Total Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $72. If the actual purchase price of the Prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. Prize details and “vintage” packet are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Coupon Offer #1: 1-9 ketchup packets scanned = $1.00 off Hellman’s coupon; Coupon Offer #2: 10+ ketchup packets scanned = $2.00 off Hellman’s coupon. Coupons redeemable for select UPC’s as indicated on coupons and expiration dates may apply to all coupons.

 

6)     GENERAL RULES: By participating in this Promotion, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and instructions and by all decisions of the Promotion Parties, which are final and legally binding in all matters relating to this Promotion. By participating, Entrants and Prize winner/coupon recipients agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Promotion Parties and their respective parents, affiliates, agents, officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, damages, or liability due to any damages, or losses or injuries to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the Prize/coupon or participation in any Promotion-related activity or participation in this Promotion. Entrants further agree not to pursue any right, claim or action against the Promotion Parties in connection with their participation in this Promotion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected packets/scans, technical hardware/software failures of any kind, lost/unavailable network connections, or failed/incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission, which may limit a user’s ability to participate. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the scanning process or the operation of the Promotion; violates these Official Rules; or acts in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY APP/WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE; SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion which may limit the ability of an individual to participate in or accept the Prize/coupons in the Promotion, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the scans received in this Promotion. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any typographical error in the printing of these Official Rules, administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of the Prize/coupons. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for damages to user’s device occasioned by participating in the Promotion or downloading any information to participate in the Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel any of the portion of the Promotion if it becomes technically corrupted.

 

7)     GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION AND VENUE: SPONSOR IS REGISTERED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES WITH HEADQUARTERS IN NEW JERSEY. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE & FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SAME. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND HEREBY IRREVOCABLY SUBMITS TO THE VENUE OF THOSE COURTS WITHIN NEW YORK.

 

8)     ENTRANTS’ PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, located at https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/usa-english.html.

 

9)     PRIZE WINNER LIST: For the Prize Winners (as applicable), available for ninety (90) days after May 31, 2025, send an email to: Winners@dja.com with “Hellmann’s Ketchup Currency” as the subject line. Winners List will be sent after the Prizes are awarded (as applicable).
