Bite into our delicious Apple 'N Cheddar Tuna Pitas made with Hellmann's® Mayonnaise, cheddar or American cheese, cranberries and more.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cans (170 g) tuna in water, drained and flaked
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) Hellmann's® with Olive Oil mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) finely chopped apple
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
- 4 slices cheddar cheese or American cheese, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) finely chopped red onion
- 2 (8-in.) (20 cms) pita breads or whole wheat pita breads, halved
METHOD

Combine all ingredients except pita breads in medium bowl. Evenly stuff pita breads with tuna mixture.
