Directions
-
Make the horseradish mayo sauce: squeeze Hellmann’s Real Mayo directly from the Squeeze Bottle into a small bowl on camera, add horseradish, Dijon, lemon juice, and salt, whisk until smooth.
-
Make the gravy: melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour to form a roux, slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire, simmer 5–7 minutes until thick. Season to taste.
-
Add sliced roast beef to the hot gravy and warm through 2–3 minutes
-
Lay bread flat on a plate open-faced — no top piece.
-
Pile roast beef generously over the bread.
-
Ladle brown gravy over everything until the bread is fully smothered.
-
Using the Hellmann’s Squeeze Bottle, drizzle the horseradish mayo sauce over the top in a zigzag pattern.
-
Garnish with chives and serve with mashed potatoes alongside.
