Ingredients for Haryali

  • 1/2 cup Hellmann’s® Plant Based
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 fresh Thai green chillies
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp salt, to taste

For the Topping

  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • fresh jalapeño slices (as desired)

  1. Start by preparing the haryali spread. In a blender, add Hellmann’s Plant Based, mint, coriander, Thai green chillies, garlic, lemon juice, garam masala, and salt. Blend until smooth.

  2. For the chilli-cheese topping, combine grated mozzarella, grated white cheddar, chopped red onions, and coriander in a bowl.

  3. To assemble, spread a generous layer of the haryali spread on one side of each bread slice. Top with the cheese mixture and add a few slices of jalapeño.

  4. Place the prepared bread slices in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-5 minutes, and bake until the cheese is bubbly, golden, and the toast is crisp. Check regularly to make sure it doesn't burn.

  5. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
