Infamous in the Caribbean, Jamaican jerk seasoning almost always features allspice, Scotch bonnet peppers & thyme.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Mayonnaise Dressing with Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. grated lime peel
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 4 large bone-in pork chops or boneless
  • 1 Tbsp. Jamaican jerk seasoning
  • 1 medium mango, seeded, peeled and cut into 8 slices (optional)

Method

  • 1 For Creamy Lime Salsa, combine Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Mayonnaise Dressing with Olive Oil, lime juice, onion, garlic, grated lime peel and pepper in medium bowl; set aside.
  • 2 Evenly season chops with jerk seasoning. Grill or broil chops until done. Arrange chops on serving platter, then evenly garnish with mango and Creamy Lime Salsa. Serve with remaining salsa.
*Try substituting boneless chicken breasts or halibut steaks for pork chops.
