Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 6 tbsp. Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise, divided
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 slices cheddar cheese or American cheese
- 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 medium tomato, sliced

Combine ground beef, 2 Tbsp. Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise, egg, garlic and black pepper in large bowl; shape into 4 patties.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties* until desired doneness, about 8 minutes. Top with cheese and cook until cheese is melted. Evenly spread remaining 4 Tbsp. Mayonnaise on buns, then top with burgers, lettuce, tomato and, if desired, sliced red onion.

Tip: *Burgers can also be grilled or broiled.
