- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced, about 4 cups
- 1 cup Hellmann’s® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 12 ounces flank steak or sirloin steak, grilled or boiled, then sliced
- 1 loaf French bread, split and cut into 4 pieces

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and cook onions, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 25 minutes. Stir in vinegar and cook an additional 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise. Season, if desired, with salt and pepper to taste.

Evenly top bread with sliced steak and onion mixture.
