Rated 1 out of 5 by RoadwarriorNC from Disappointed I was very excited about this product, as I love ginger sauce. Whenever I get Japanese take-out, I load up on the ginger sauce. So, I made some hibachi chicken and applied the sauce. I was sadly disappointed in the flavor of this sauce. It has a strong sesame oil taste, with a fairly strong rice vinegar flavor. I could not detect any ginger flavor at all. If you will look at the ingredients listed on the back of the bottle, you will see that ginger is listed as the 10th ingredient. Some may find this sauce to their liking, just not me. If you are looking for authentic ginger sauce, this is not the product for that.

I thought oh this sounds so good I'm so glad I got it when I did we were able to make the egg rolls and the Ginger kick to the egg rolls made a huge difference. I even tried it when I made the egg roll in a bowl as like a drizzle sauce made it taste 100% better. This would be great for a salad dressing or sushi or other stir fry recipes it's easy to apply it has a squeeze the bottle tip on the bottle which you can directly apply to certain spots instead of pouring on however you can't open the bottle in port though too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Telleferro from Very subtle Sesame Ginger flavor I love Hellman's brand. I've always been using this brand from when my grandmother taught me how to cook. She wouldn't buy any other brand. I was surprised when I saw they made an Asian influenced flavor of sauce. I recently made a vegetable fried rice and added this Sesame Ginger sauce to it, and boy did u enjoy it. It took it over the top. It had a soft subtle flavor so Sesame with a hint of ginger. It is not overwhelmingly strong. I'll probably use it with egg rolls, french fries, even with potstickers at my next barbecue. I definitely recommend this to friends and family.

I used it as a marinade while cooking, a dip for veggies, and a spread on a burger. All ways put extra flavor into my food and made it very tasty. I was super surprised at how the flavor popped. I would definitely use this again and recommend it to others!

Rated 4 out of 5 by theo g from yummy subtle ginger sauce Was surprised to find out that Hellman ventured into asian influenced sauce. Honestly I'm more familiar with mayonnaise from them. This sauce goes well with all of my grilled meat, vegetables, sandwich of whatever kind all depending on whatever flavor rocks your boat. This sauce has a very mild flavor, so it will go well with practically anything. It is super creamy. The ginger is not overpowering. This would be great for a salad dressing or sushi or other stir fry recipes.

This sauce goes well with all of my grilled meat and I also use it on my sandwiches. Overall, it has a similar taste of the condiments you receive in the Japanese restaurant. Not too salty not too sweet, but a perfect balance. This sauce has a very mild flavor, so it will go well with practically anything. Very satisfying taste. Will definitely try again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Knock from Okay sauce I received the Hellmans sesame ginger sauce and wasn’t did not really enjoy it. I tried it in multiple foods I thought would pair well. There is a great ginger sesame taste to the product. However, the tanginess of the sauce threw me off in a not so good manner. It’s not for me, although I do love all Asian food. The sauce is pretty creamy. It’s edible but a total no.
