Put the freeze on fruit waste

Doing your part to reduce fruit waste is as easy as a blitz in the blender! Just blend bruised and over-ripe fruits and berries into the perfect base for a refreshing popsicle.

What you need

  1. Over-ripe or bruised fruit

  2. Fruit juice (any flavour)

  3. Plain yogurt

  • Blender

  • Popsicle tray

What to do

  1. Wash the fruit you want to use. Core and cube if needed.

  2. Put your fruit and a bit of juice into the blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Pour fruit mixture into popsicle trays.

  • Top up the popsicle trays with your preferred juice or yogurt.

  • Freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours.

  • Enjoy!


If you don’t have fruit juice on hand, just add a little water to the fruit and blend until smooth.
