PUT THE FREEZE ON FRUIT WASTE
This summer, make food-waste friendly popsicles at home with leftover fruits and berries. They’re healthy, refreshing and have no added sugar. You just blend, pour, top up, and freeze overnight.

Doing your part to reduce fruit waste is as easy as a blitz in the blender! Just blend bruised and over-ripe fruits and berries into the perfect base for a refreshing popsicle.

WHAT YOU NEED
Over-ripe or bruised fruit
Fruit juice (any flavour)
Plain yogurt
Blender
Popsicle tray
WHAT TO DO
Wash the fruit you want to use. Core and cube if needed.
Put your fruit and a bit of juice into the blender and blend until smooth.
Pour fruit mixture into popsicle trays.
Top up the popsicle trays with your preferred juice or yogurt.
Freeze overnight or for at least 6 hours.

TIP
If you don’t have fruit juice on hand, just add a little water to the fruit and blend until smooth.
