  • 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) baking soda
  • 1 tsp. (5 mL) salt
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) applesauce
  • 2 tsp. (10 mL) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 bag (225 g.) chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (250 mL) toasted pecans
  • 1 cup (250 mL) dried cranberries

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C.) Line 13 x 9-in. (3.5 L) baking pan with foil; coat with no-stick cooking spray. Whisk flour, baking soda and salt in bowl; set aside.

  2. Beat sugars, Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise, applesauce and vanilla extract in large bowl with electric mixer 2 minutes. Beat in flour mixture on low speed in 3 additions just until combined. Beat in chocolate chips, pecans and cranberries. (Dough will be crumbly.)

  3. Evenly pat cookie dough into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until pick inserted in center comes out with moist crumbs attached. Let cool on wire rack. Lift out of pan and cut into bars.
