Much more than a delicious meeting of ocean and prairie, this burger is almost a gourmet meal in a bun! Imagine, mouth-wateringly moist and tender prime beef fillet, blending with the texture and unique taste of king prawn. And the smoothness of Hellmann’s mayonnaise enhancing their flavours even further. Any special occasions to celebrate? The perfect burger is just waiting to be prepared by you!


  • 250 g beef steak e.g. sirloin
  • 2 king prawns
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 10 grams Flora Buttery
  • 2 tablespoons Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 lime
  • 2 buns
  • 2 grams salt
  • pepper

  1. Season the beef with salt and pepper, sauté in Flora or oil on both sides and place in the oven at 170°C, 150° C fan, Gas mark 3. Heat the steak in the oven and test with a meat thermometer to a core temperature of about 57° C. Let the meat rest for about ten minutes.

  2. Clean the king prawns. Season with pepper and sauté them in the same pan with the roughly chopped garlic cloves.

  3. For the cocktail sauce, mix Hellmann’s mayonnaise, tomato puree and season with pepper and lime juice.

  4. Cut the beef for burgers into slices and top with the prawnand cocktail sauce.
