Smokey, juicy BBQ burgers. Perfect for sharing on a hot summer evening.


  • 400 grams lean beef mince
  • 2 grams salt and pepper
  • 1 small white onion finely chopped
  • 15 grams breadcrumbs
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small cucumber, sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 romaine lettuce
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 bottle Hellmann's American smokey barbecue sauce

  1. Season the beef with the salt and pepper. Stir in the chopped onion and 40ml of the American Smokey BBQ sauce. Add the breadcrumbs and mix together and form 4 burgers.

  2. Cook the meat on the grill for around 10 min (see tip below).

  3. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill. Place the sliced tomato, cucumber, onion rings and lettuce in the buns, add the burgers and serve with the rest of the BBQ Sauce.
