A glorious fusion of contrasting flavours with chilli and mustard together and delicious cheese and egg yolk, mellowed out with creamy Hellmann’s mayonnaise.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g (lean) minced beef
  • 2 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon hot mustard or to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 medium onions
  • 15 g Flora Buttery
  • 30 g runny honey
  • 2 tablespoon Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 40 grams lettuce
  • 2 buns
  • pepper
  • 4 whole tomatoes
  • 200 grams diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red chilli
  • 1 lime
  • 5 grams sugar

METHOD

  1. Mix the ground beef with pepper and mustard to taste.

  2. Shape into patties and fry on a grill or in the pan.

  3. Fry two eggs sunny side up.

  4. Slice the onions and fry in a pan with margarine; then glaze with honey and allow to cook.

  5. For the chilli sauce combine 200 ml canned, diced and seasoned tomatoes, add freshly diced tomatoes, one finely chopped chilli, tomato puree, diced onions (and salt) and pepper to taste in a saucepan, bringing it to the boil. Season with a hint  of lime and sugar.

  6. Brush the two halves of the bun with Hellmann’s mayonnaise..
