Potato mash made with cabbage, a splash of milk and Hellmann's mayonnaise

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 4 dollops Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 150 g cabbage, shredded
  • 1 large white onion, finely chopped
  • 25 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

METHOD

  1. Peel the potatoes. Boil in unsalted water for 20 minutes, or until soft.

  2. Meanwhile, blanch the cabbage.

  3. When cooked, mash the potatoes with the milk and mayonnaise.

  4. Fry the onions in oil until caramelised, then add the cabbage.

  5. Fry together over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Add to the mash and serve.

  6. Serve with roast chicken.
