INGREDIENTS
- 250 g plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 300 g chocolate chips
- 2 medium eggs
- 150 g caster sugar
- 4 dollops Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 50 g chopped nuts, e.g. pistachios
METHOD

Preheat oven to 190°C, 170°C fan, Gas mark 5.

Combine flour and bicarbonate of soda in small bowl; set aside.

Put 150g of the chocolate chips into a heat proof bowl over a saucepan of hot water and leave until melted (alternatively, microwave on medium power, stirring occasionally, until just melted).

Beat eggs, sugar, Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise and vanilla in a large bowl with electric mixer at high speed for 2 minutes. Reduce speed to low. Beat in melted chocolate, then flour mixture just until blended. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and nuts.

Drop rounded tablespoons of the mixture onto greased baking sheets, 5cm apart.

Bake for 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and let stand for 2 minutes on a wire rack.

Remove from sheets and cool completely.
