Easy béarnaise sauce is delicious and creamy with hints of citrus.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh tarragon, finely chopped
  • 4 dollops Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 100 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 teaspoon Maille Dijon Mustard with Honey
  • 1 pinch pepper

METHOD

  1. Combine lemon juice with onion and tarragon in a small pan. Cook for 30 seconds. Reduce heat to low and add the Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise, milk, MailleDijon mustardand pepper. Whisk until smooth.

  2. Cook, stirring occasionally for 3 minutes or until hot (do not boil). Whisk until smooth.

  3. Serve warm with steaks, roast beef, cutlets or chops.
