Lidl X Hellmann’s UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Competition T&Cs (“PROMOTION”) 

Full T&Cs:

 

1)      These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the entrant (“you”, “your(s)”, "entrant(s)"), the Promoter and the Retailer (both defined below) in relation to the Promotion and shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

 

2)      The Promoter: Unilever UK Limited, Lever House, 3 St James Road, Kingston Upon Thames, United Kingdom, KT1 2BA. The Promoter is responsible for administering this Promotion and for conducting the prize draw. 

 

3)      The Retailer: Lidl Great Britain Limited, Lidl House, 14 Kingston Road, Surbiton, KT5 9NU. The Retailer is responsible for placing the Promotional Material in stores. 

 

4)      Eligibility:

 

a)       This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over who have:

(a) a mobile phone with scan capabilities;

(b) internet access;

(c) a UK bank account; and

(d) a valid passport and authority to enter Switzerland.

 

b)       The following are not eligible to enter this Promotion: employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion, including without limitation, advertising agencies, PR, prize suppliers and legal advisors. Winners must also not be a public official or Excluded Person (see below). In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, partner or spouse members of such employees or of anyone with whom such employees are domiciled.

 

c)       Winners and their guests must not be an Excluded Person. Excluded Person means:

                                                               i)      any person banned by the Host Association from membership of the fan club for the national football team (or banned from any equivalent official supporters club by a football governing body in any jurisdiction in the World); 

                                                             ii)      any person subject to an administrative or judicial football ban under the applicable laws of the relevant Host City and/or Switzerland; 

                                                            iii)      any person banned by UEFA, FIFA, any football governing body or otherwise, from travelling to or attending an association football match;  

                                                           iv)      any person banned by UEFA, the Host Association and/or the relevant Stadium Owner from attending events at the Stadium;  

                                                             v)      any person who is deemed by the participating teams in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™ Match to be a person to whom tickets should not be allocated (including but not limited to persons who have been issued with a stadium ban by the respective participating team);  

                                                           vi)      any person who is deemed by the relevant public authorities to be a person to whom tickets should not be allocated for safety and security reasons; and 

                                                          vii)      any person who has breached or is in breach of the UEFA Terms and Conditions.

 

5)      How to enter:

 

a)       Entry is via completing a sign-up form on the Hellmann’s website. Entrants can access the form by either:

                                                               i)      in-store at Lidl: scanning the QR code on the competition promotional marketing at the point of sale; or

                                                             ii)      Online: visiting the Hellmann’s website on https://hellmanns.com/uk/win-UEFA-Womens-Euro-2025-tickets.Lidl.html

 

b)      Complete the form by providing the following information:

                                                               i)      First name;

                                                             ii)      Last name; and

                                                            iii)      Email address.

 

c)       Answering the additional questions is optional.

 

d)      No purchase necessary; however, internet access is required.

 

e)       Agree to these Terms and Conditions whereby you consent to your data being shared with the Promoter and a third-party agency for prize fulfillment purposes only. 

 

6)      Promotional Period: The opening date for entries is 00:00 BST 19th May 2025 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 23:59 BST 31st May 2025.  Entries received outside the Promotional Period shall not be valid for entry into this Promotion.

 

7)      The Promotion is limited to one entry per person, per email address. Any use by entrants of identities other than their own and/or any entrant using the same email to enter this Promotion will be disqualified and any prize entitlement will be void. The Promoter reserves the right to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether an entrant has already submitted an entry and to disqualify any subsequent entries or prize entitlement.

 

8)      No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties, consumer groups or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data; using multiple email addresses; using multiple postal addresses; acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter; using identities other than their own; creating fake identities or using any other automated or manual means in order to increase that entrant's or a household’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants and their household will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void.

 

9)      Illegible, incorrect and/or incomplete entries will not be accepted or eligible to win a prize. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are illegible, incorrect, incomplete, lost due to technical reasons, corrupted, delayed or not received for whatsoever reason.  

 

10)  We, the Promoter, reserve the right in our sole and reasonable discretion to disqualify any entrant who: (a) we have reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions; and/or (b) corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion; and/or (c) engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Promotion. We also reserve our legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender. 

 

11)  By participating in this Promotion, you agree to release, discharge and hold us, the Promoter, harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this Promotion (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

 

12)  The Prize(s): There are 201 prizes to be won and there will be 201 winners. Each winner shall win 1 prize. Prizes consist of:  

 

a)       The first drawn winner will win:

 

·       4 x General Admission tickets to the France vs England UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™ Group stage match on 5 July 2025 in Switzerland.

 

·       4 x return economy flights to and from an airport in the UK to an airport in Switzerland (departing on 4 July 2025, returning on 6 July 2025).

 

·       2-nights’ stay in a hotel chosen by the Promoter (2 rooms, double occupancy) (check-in and check-out dates and times will vary depending on the tickets received).

 

·       Cash prize of €100 (EUR) spending money, per day, during the trip period.

 

b)      The following 200 drawn winners will win:

 

·        A £20 Lidl voucher. 

 

13)  The Promoter is responsible for sourcing the Prize and engages third-party fulfillers Wasserman to fulfil the tickets, flights, hotel and cash prize, and Umbrella to fulfil the Lidl vouchers.

 

14)  NOTICE: Prize winner(s) and guest(s) must both hold a valid passport or authority to enter Switzerland. This must be obtained and confirmed before travelling to Switzerland. If a visa is required for entry into Switzerland, the Promoter will provide accommodation data needed for visa application. The Promoter is not responsible for the visa application process, issuance and/or use, which is solely under the control of the government of Switzerland. Any costs associated with the visa application are borne by the winner(s) and guest(s) and are not reimbursed by the Promoter. If winner(s) and guest(s) are unable to obtain such a visa within 10 days of being notified of the prize, another winner will be chosen in accordance with these terms and conditions.

 

15)  Travel dates are set by the Promoter. Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. The Promoter is not liable for any missed events or opportunities or expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay or ground transportation delay. 

 

16)  Winner(s) and their guest(s) must have valid travel and medical insurance for their period of travel and duration of their stay, and are responsible for the costs of obtaining any such insurance. It is the Winner(s)' responsibility to organise transport to/from their departure and arrival airport. Unless expenses are expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions to be expenses which are part of any prize, all other expenses incurred by the winner(s) and their guest in preparation for, or during the trip, are the responsibility of the winner(s) and their guest(s), including but not limited to all other meals, transfers, insurance and any applicable insurance excesses, spending money, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls and all other ancillary costs are not included.

 

17)  The Prize winner(s) will each receive tickets only valid for the specified date.

 

18)  The Prize includes what is stated in clause 12 only and does not cover any additional costs related to other travel, food, drinks, or any expense of any kind.

 

19)  Winners shall remain at all times responsible for their guest (who is the additional ticket holder). Any guest(s) under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (over the age of 18) and may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter / UEFA / a third party on behalf of UEFA in its absolute discretion.  Any guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst at the stadium and its surrounding areas.

 

20)  Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part. The prize must be accepted as offered and redeemed by the named winner only. Match tickets must be used only by the winners and named guests. Entrants must not re-sell, give away or otherwise re-distribute any tickets they receive. There is no alternative prize, in whole or part (save where the Promoter in its sole discretion deems it reasonably necessary to provide an alternative prize). The prize cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount.

 

21)  The Promoter will not be liable to winners or guests for any costs, damages, injuries or losses incurred by the winners or their guests as a result of travelling to or attending the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™.

 

Prize Tickets specifics:

 

a)       Allocation of all prize tickets will be at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Winners will receive tickets only valid for the specified date.

 

b)      To be eligible for the prize tickets, the winner needs to submit personal information such as: full names, titles, dates of birth, email addresses, mobile numbers, home addresses, nationality and country of residence, passport/identity documentation, accessibility requirements etc.  for both the winner and their guests. Depending on the prize, you might be required to share more information (e.g. flight details).

 

c)       Winners shall remain at all times responsible for their guest (who is the additional ticket holder). Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst at the stadium and its surrounding areas. The accompanying adult must be in possession of a valid ticket. Entrants acknowledge that a breach of these terms may result in their ticket being revoked, entry to the stadium refused or being asked to leave the stadium, or prize may be forfeited.

 

d)      Use of the tickets is subject to the Terms and Conditions on the tickets and the regulations in force at the applicable venue. The tickets may not be resold under any circumstances and can only be used by the winner(s) and their named guest(s).

 

e)       Prize elements, including match tickets, air travel provider, and hotel, will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. All travel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner.

 

f)        Winner(s) and guest(s) must be available to travel on the dates specified by the Promoter, or the prize and its value will be forfeited.

 

g)       Frequent flyer points will not form part of the prize. The winner(s) and their guest(s) must travel together, including travelling on the same flights and staying in the same accommodation and possess all required travel documents, including visas and valid passports, if and as applicable. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should the winner(s) and/or their guest(s) miss their outbound or return flights or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. These costs will be the sole responsibility and expense of the winner(s) and their guest(s). A credit card imprint will be required from the winner(s) at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.

 

h)      Winner(s) and their guest(s) will be solely responsible for all taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes they receive, regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, is used. Winner(s) and their guest(s) are responsible for passport, travel visa, insurance, medical expenses and vaccination certification, and compliance with meeting any travel/health requirements imposed by Swiss government and those of the United Kingdom at time of travel.

 

i)          Winners will receive an invitation to the UEFA ticketing App. During the registration process, the winners will have to submit all data as required by UEFA and will also need to accept UEFA’s terms and conditions.

 

j)         The Promoter will not be responsible for replacement of any lost or stolen match tickets once they are in winner's possession or in the possession of the winner’s guest.

 

k)         Match tickets are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the match's organiser. Winner(s) and their guest(s) must comply with all applicable ticket terms and conditions, stadium code of conduct terms and safety and security regulations and decisions including the prohibition on the re-sale and transfer of such tickets, and prohibition of certain items in the stadium. Winners will receive an invitation to the UEFA ticketing App. During the registration process, the winners will have to submit all data as required by UEFA and will also need to accept UEFA’s terms and conditions.

 

22)  The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these terms and conditions if an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter. 

 

23)  In the event that an element of any prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the winner(s) agree to forfeit the specified element, and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of that prize.

 

24)  Entrants agree that, should they win tickets to a UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™ Match, their personal information and that of their guest including, but not limited to their title, full names, email address, date of birth, passport / ID number, nationality, country of residence, match number, ticket number, block/row/seat information for their ticket, and where they have a disability or limited mobility, additional personal data relating to their accessibility requirements (“Personal Data”) will be processed by the Promoter and the Promoters third party agencies in order to perform disclosure checks in line with the Promoter’s internal policies, provide the ticket to the winners and any guests and arrange any agreed travel or accommodation.   

 

25)  The Promoter and the Promoter’s third-party agencies will process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Promoter’s privacy notice, a copy of which is available here: https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices.html. In accordance with the Promoter’s and UEFA’s agreement, the Promoter is required to share Personal Data with UEFA, or any other entities duly authorized by UEFA. UEFA may store, transfer or otherwise process the Personal Data in accordance with the WEUROs UEFA Ticketing Terms and Conditions  (which is accessible at: weuro_2025_gp_fans_terms_and_conditions_en.pdf, UEFA’s Privacy Policy (which is accessible at: : https://www.uefa.com/privacypolicy/), UEFA’s Privacy Notification (which is accessible at: weuro_2025_group_sales_privacy_notification_en.pdf) (together, “UEFA Privacy Policy Terms”) and applicable data protection laws. The purposes for which UEFA or any entities duly authorised by UEFA may use the Personal Data include to: process ticket requests and issue tickets, carry out any relevant safety, security and sanitary measures and/or background checks, comply with applicable laws and/or organise appropriate accessible seating for Accessibility Tickets. 

 

26)  Winners confirm that they will obtain the permission of any guest they take, for the same sets of personal data.

 

27)  Winners will (and will procure that their guest will) comply with any instructions or guidelines communicated by the Promoter, or by a third party on behalf of the Promoter, and any request to enter into additional terms and conditions and provide such personal information as required.

 

28)  Winners will (and will procure that their guest will) comply with the WEUROs UEFA Ticketing Terms and Conditions (weuro_2025_gp_fans_terms_and_conditions_en.pdf), Stadium Rules (weuro_2025_stadium_rules_en.pdf) and any UEFA and/or host association statutes and regulations applicable for the tournament or other terms made available by UEFA (together the “UEFA Terms and Conditions”). This includes the prohibition on the re-sale and transfer of such tickets, and prohibition of certain items in the stadium, any sanitary measures and policies in place, all applicable laws governing access or presence at the stadium and attendance at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™ Match. Entrants acknowledge that a breach of the UEFA Terms and Conditions may result in their ticket being revoked, entry to the stadium refused or being asked to leave the stadium.  

 

29)  Winners and guests acknowledge that the teams playing in a match are subject to change without notice by UEFA. No specific players or other individuals are guaranteed to play or otherwise participate in a given match, and a Match may be cancelled, stopped prematurely, interrupted, rescheduled, relocated, or replayed in its entirety at UEFA’s discretion.  The Promoter  will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages to winners and guests as a result thereof, such as travel and accommodation expenses.

 

30)  Where winners and/or their guests have notified Unilever of a disability or limited mobility, Unilever will use its best endeavours to accommodate any accessibility requirements necessary to enable the Winners and their Guests to attend the stadium (including any related hospitality, travel and accommodation requirements). While Unilever strives to ensure accessibility for all, the Winners acknowledge that Unilever cannot guarantee that third-party providers of tickets, hospitality, travel and accommodation will always meet specific accessibility requirements. These services are managed independently, and their policies and practices may vary. Unilever will be responsible for any failure to meet accessibility requirements by third-party providers.

 

31)  Winner(s) and their guest(s) acknowledge that UEFA retains rights under the ticket terms and conditions, stadium code of conduct terms and safety and security regulations and decisions to revoke or cancel tickets, to refuse entry to the stadium, to ask winner(s) or guests to leave the stadium and Unilever may therefore be required to withdraw tickets awarded to winner(s) and guests of winner(s) at any time. In such circumstances Unilever will not be liable to winner(s) or guests of winner(s) for any losses incurred as a result of such withdrawal.

 

32)  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notifications or prizes. The Promoter will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of the Promoter.

 

33)  The Promoter reserves the right to provide alternative prizes of equal or greater value should circumstances outside our control make this necessary.

 

34)  We reserve the right to verify each winner and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

 

Winner selection

 

35)  All valid entries received on or before the closing date will be randomly assigned a number and will be entered into a random number generator draw. There will be 1 random prize draw to determine the winners. This will take place the next working day after the closing date, on 2 June 2025. The first entry drawn at random will win the prize as outlined in clause 12a. The following 200 entries drawn will win the prize as outlined in clause 12b. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

36)  Once the winners have been drawn, the Promoter will provide the winner(s) details to the third-party fulfillers, Wasserman, who will contact the winner(s) in order to claim their prize.

 

a)       For the first winner: The Promoter will share the winners’ contact details with Wasserman, who will fulfil all tickets, flights, hotels, and cash prize, and will liaise directly with the winners from teamhellmannsUK@teamwass.com.

 

b)      The winner will be notified by Wasserman via email from teamhellmannsUK@teamwass.com within 7 days of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the email confirming their and their selected guests’ names; title; date of birth; mobile number; email address; and home addresses, nationalities, countries of residence; passport/identity documentation numbers for fulfillment purposes within 48 hours of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this period, it will lapse, and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner, selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

 

c)       Tickets will be delivered to the winners (and their guests) digitally, by virtue of ‘electronic mobile phone tickets’ with such method to be determined by UEFA or a third party on behalf of UEFA, at its sole discretion.

 

d)      Wasserman will also send the winners (from teamhellmannsUK@teamwass.com) a link to a secure domain to enter their bank account details securely for the spending money payment to be made[SS1] [SS2] .

 

e)       Winners are responsible for providing correct bank account details and the Promoter will not be liable for any cash prize payments made into the wrong bank account.

 

f)        For the 200 winners: The Promoter will share the winners' contact details with Umbrella, who will fulfil the Lidl vouchers.

 

g)       The winners will be notified by The Promoter via unilevercustomercare@unileverconsumerlink.co.uk [SS3] within 7 days of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize by responding to the email confirming their personal information such as: full names, titles, email addresses, mobile numbers, home addresses, accessibility requirements etc. for fulfilment purposes within 28 days of the notification. [SS4] [LH5] If the prize is unclaimed after this period, it will lapse, and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner, selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

 

h)      Once submitted, winners should receive their Lidl voucher within 28 days.

 

Data Protection and Publicity

 

37)  Winner(s) (and their guests) may be filmed / photographed / interviewed by the Promoter or on the Promoter’s behalf during their time at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™ football match or in the stadium. The winner(s) grant the Promotor a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and make derivative works of any content created by the winner(s) at/around the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™ (including but not limited to photographs) in any media and through any media channel. If needed the winner(s) and their guest(s) will sign a release form to confirm the above use.

 

38)  The winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity arising from this Promotion.

 

39)   The winner’s details (name and country) may be available on request to those in writing to Hellmann's, Lever House, 3 St James Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT1 2BA within 10 weeks after the closing date, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.  

 

40)  If you are selected as a winner and the Promoter receives a request from a consumer that a valid prize award took place, the Promoter will share the first letter of both your first name and surname with them, e.g. “AA”. If the UK Advertising Standards Authority request confirmation that a valid award took place, we will share information such as your first and last name directly with them. 

 

General

 

41)  By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. The personal data will be processed in accordance with the Data Controller’s Privacy Policy, which is available at https://www.unilevernotices.com/privacy-notices/united-kingdom-english.html.

 

42)  The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these Terms and Conditions or the spirit of this Promotion. Those who try and circumvent the entry process and/or entry instructions by any method, will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.

 

43)  Entry into this Promotion is voluntary and at the entrant's sole decision and risk.

 

44)  Subject to Clause 46 below, the Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to the winners or any third party, or accept any liability for:

a)       any disappointment, loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of entry to this Promotion; and/or

b)      any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of acceptance and/or use of the prize.

 

45)  Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude the Promoter’s liability for:

a)       death or personal injury caused by negligence; and/or

b)      fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and/or

c)       any liability which may not be legally limited under applicable law.

 

46)  These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues. As concerns UK residents, these terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.

 

47)  The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties but will use all reasonable endeavors to avoid consumer disappointment and in the event of an early cancellation or termination of this Promotion, the Promoter will select winners from all valid and eligible entries received prior to any such early cancellation or termination.
