New 100% Recycled Bottles.

New 100% Recycled Bottles. Real Taste. Less Waste.

At Hellmann’s, we believe we have a responsibility to provide the people who love our products with condiments that taste good, feel good and are a force for good.

We’re excited to announce that by 2020, all of Hellmann’s Mayonnaise and Mayonnaise Dressing plastic jars and bottles sold in U.S. retail stores will be made from recycled plastic materials. This is the first step in our journey to make these packs fully recyclable and made from 100 percent recycled materials. This will affect more than 200 million Hellmann’s bottles and jars, including our iconic jars and our easy-to-use squeeze bottles that consumers love.

The new recycled plastic packaging is made from 100 percent food-safe plastic material and has a slightly darker tint compared to the previous packaging.

Unilever is committed to ensuring 100 percent of plastic packaging will be designed to be fully reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025, and Hellmann’s efforts will help support that commitment.
