A delicious vegan take on a British classic. Swap bacon for tofu and enjoy with the new Hellmann's Vegan Mayo!
  • 200 grams tofu thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps maple syrup
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 large round lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices beef tomato
  • 4 tbsps Hellmann’s® Vegan Mayonnaise

  • 1 Preheat oven to 190˚C
  • 2 Place tofu slices on a lightly oiled baking pan
  • 3 Mix the onion powder, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, maple syrup, and liquid smoke. Brush liberally over tofu slices. Bake for 20 minutes or until the tofu is crispy
  • 4 Spread Hellmann’s vegan mayo over each slice of bread and fill with lettuce, tomato and tofu slices
