Rated 4 out of 5 by Didi67 from Very tasty but confusing Nutritional information1 I am quite fond of the flavour. I am, however, confused about the nutritional information. On the product label of the (full fat) 850ml container I have, it states that there is 11g of fat in a 15g portion, and 0g Carbs. Your posted information for the 850ml container shows there is 5g of fat in a 15g portion, and 1g Carb. The fat and carb content shown in your nutritional information differs from the 890g container and the 750ml squeezable container - which is the same product. Please clarify the fat content in the full-fat Olive Oil and make any necessary adjustments to the information available to consumers on your website - thank you!

Rated 1 out of 5 by DropTheCanol from Unhappy with labelling I just read your list of ingredients and I am annoyed that Hellmann's lumps canola oil and olive oil in the first ingredient. I want to know which one is in higher proportion to the other as that will affect whether or not I will buy this product. It is all the more disingenuous and misleading given that the front label boldly states "Olive Oil". I would prefer a product with only olive oil (ie. no canola oil at all) and would be willing to pay a reasonable amount more for such a product. I am also going to complain to CFIA because I think that the labeling rules should not allow you to lump two ingredients together to obfuscate the proportions of each individual ingredient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mint from Bring the Old Caps Back I would really love to see the old caps come back. Really would!!! I really don't understand why they were changed as they worked a whole lot better than these (relatively) new ones. I used to love this product... now it's a chore spreading it on my bread; it sprays everywhere, no matter how full the bottle is. It's simply not efficient at all as it allows air to go in and the result is a total mess. The valve like opening let's air in and it gets stuck in there until you squish the bottle for mayo to come out ... and then disaster!!! Please Please Please change them back.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that it still contains canola oil which is the worst oil anyone could ingest. But I'm too lazy to make my own mayo most of the time so this is the stuff I buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Catus Pete from My only Mayo in Canada (I'm from US) I really like this Mayo and seek it out at stores. Canola and Olive oils are a good combination as Canola has more Omega 3 than Olive and balances out the stronger flavor of Oiive. Some Mayos with Olive oil have Soybean oil as the other oil, which I try to avoid. I have made straight Oilive oil Mayo myself, but the flavor is too strong more most uses. I don't buy the light Mayo version as these oils are what I am looking for. I did not know that the eggs were from free range chickens until I came to this site. I buy free range eggs seperately as I find the eggs generally appear to be from chickens getting better nutrition. The eggs usually have darker yolks (normally more Lutein) and the shell is harder which indicates they are getting better feed. Having not seen the actual eggs going into it, I can only assume that the chances are that the eggs are better, nutrionally, than those that are not free range.

It is creamy, delicious, and so good for me! I am a big fan of olive oil anyway, and Hellmann's tastes wonderful. I use it on sandwiches,and when I make my summer salads, such as potato salad and pasta salads. I also love to coat chicken with it, using the Hellmann's recipe! The other great thing is the bottle! It stands up in my fridge door, is readily available and the mayonnaise comes out right away, making it very convenient to use and to store. As summer approaches, I will be going through large amounts of this! I highly recommend it!

So I used it once with fish and with homemade breakfast sandwiches. I have to admit that I actually like this mayonnaise. Its got a nice tangy taste and it (to me) doesn't taste like regular mayonnaise which it a plus. I don't think I could go through a whole bottle myself in a year so I don't/wont purchase it often. But I do think that it is better for you than regular mayonnaise, and for that reason I would recommend it to people.
