Earl's Famous Seafood Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lb. peeled and deveined uncooked medium shrimp
  • 2 Tbsp. PLUS 2 tsp. Old Bay Seasoning, divided
  • 1 medium lemon
  • 1 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 box (13.25 oz.) whole grain rotini pasta or regular rotiini pasta, cooked, drained, rinsed with cold water
  • 1 lb. jumbo lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped flat-leaf parsley

Directions

  1. Bring vinegar and water to a boil in medium saucepan. Stir in shrimp and 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning; cover remove from heat and let stand, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink, about 5 minutes. Reserve 1/3 cup liquid then drain. Stir remaining 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning into reserved cooking liquid. Cool shrimp and cooking liquid.
  2. Finely grate 1/2 teaspoon peel and squeeze 2 tablespoons juice from lemon and place in large bowl. Stir in Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise, sugar and reserved cooking liquid.
  3. Stir in pasta and toss to coat. Gently stir in cooled shrimp, crab meat and parsley. Chill 30 minutes.
