Steak and Fries

Our steak and fries recipe is easy to make and is an eternal crowd pleaser. Serve with a simple salad and a generous serving of Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise.

  • 4 beef tenderloin steaks or sirloin steaks (about 4 oz. ea)
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • Dash ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 package (about 16 oz.) frozen French fries or steak fries, prepared according to package directions


  1. Brush steaks with olive oil on both sides and brown in medium skillet over medium-high heat, turning once. Reduce heat to medium and cook until desired doneness. Remove steaks from skillet and let stand about 3 minutes.
  2. Toss mixed greens with red onion and pepper. Serve steaks with greens and with Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise for dipping fries.
